Chicago Teen Killed by Police Called 911 3 Times Asking for Help And Dispatchers Hung Up on Him
Quintonio LeGrier, Chicago teen fatally shot by police, called 911 three times the day he was killed. Dispatchers hung up on him when he called asking for help. The audio of the 19-year-old's calls that were made Dec.26 were released late Monday.  LeGrier and Bettie Jones,55, were both shot.

LeGrier's first call, made at 4:18 a.m.,was asking police officers to be sent to his address. The last call was made 3 minutes later.
"There's an emergency, can you send an officer?" LeGrier can be heard saying on one of the calls. LeGrier didn't answer the officers questions so they hung up on him. Dispatchers asked LeGrier what was was wrong, he said," someone is ruining my life".
So officers shouldn't question someone who's calling for help like LeGrier did obviously there was a problem and for them to hang up on him multiple times is unacceptable. Police officers ended up killing him and its called a shooting accident. If officers would of came sooner, which they should of came because it was suspicious, it wouldn't have lend to this incident happening. Officers need to be more mature and control themselves.

This is Cedrick Chatman and he was killed by Chicago police officers in 2013.

The death video has recently been released by an order of the judge. Cedrick
was a 17year-old African American and his case is an example of a wrongful-death lawsuit. He was reported carjacked and was shot by police officers when he ran from them on Chicago's south side. In the afternoon of January 7, 2013 two officers in plain clothes pulled up to a Dodge Charger that was reported stolen, and the officers ordered Chatman out of the car at gunpoint. Chatman ran. An officer claims he saw a grey or black object in Chatman's hand and thought it was a gun. Officer Kevin Fry shot at Chatman four times, and the object turned out to be an iphone box. Complaints were made that Officer Fry used excessive when not needed. Neither officers are charged with any wrong doing and remained on duty.
Lorenzo Davis, a former supervisor at the authority, was investigating the shooting and found it unnecessary to shoot him and he recommended that Fry should be fired. The top echelon disagreed with Davis and Davis fired him.
*Im sorry about Cedrick Chatman I wish you and your family the best.*

A 55-year-old mother ,Betty Jones,of five was accidentally shot and killed by police last month. The officer was standing in the parkway outside the woman's home, according to a lawsuit filed Monday on behalf of the woman's family. Police  released a few details about the shooting, which also killed 19-year-old Quintonio LeGrier, but it appears that Jones was an innocent bystander. The shooting happened at about 4:30 a.m. on the 4700 block of West Erie St.. Officers were confronted by a combative subject resulting in the discharging of the officer’s weapon, fatally wounding two individuals, Jones and LeGrier.
Quintonio LeGrier was a college student who studied engineering at Northern Illinois University and was home for Christmas break. LeGriers' mother informed the Chicago Police Department that her son suffered from "mental issues". Someone that morning thought that LeGrier was threatening their life but others say you can tell he had a problem. To the family of Quintonio  LeGrier and Betty Jones I want to say I am sorry for the lost of your loved ones, I truly am.
